Photo Facial Treatment
Dr. Middleton uses an advanced intense pulse light (IPL) system to remove unwanted signs of aging in a gentle, soft manner. Using a special hand piece, light energy is precisely delivered to the targeted area, which can include the face, neck, and chest. To maximize your improvement, Dr. Middleton uses levels of energy specific to your treatment, which are then absorbed by the targeted damaged tissue.
You can anticipate a much smoother skin surface, with a more even-toned complexion when undergoing an IPL photo facial treatment. Sun spots will begin to fade, pores will shrink, and fine lines and wrinkles will gradually decrease in size. If you are suffering from rosacea, the redness will decrease with each progressive treatment. It is recommended to use sunscreen and follow all instructions provided by Dr. Middleton in order to maintain your results.
In addition to photo facial treatments, those in the Oshawa, Hamilton, and Toronto areas may choose to undergo microdermabrasion. Described as a "superficial skin polishing" that uses micro-crystals vacuumed through a delicate hand piece, this procedure can produce a healthy-looking facial appearance.
