Facial Lifting with Aptos Threads
What is a "Feather Lift®"?
The "Featherlift® is a non-surgical approach to facial lifting utilizing the patented "Aptos" threads.
What are Aptos Threads?
Featherlift Aptos thread is indicated for use in plastic and reconstructive surgery in aesthetic plastic and surgical procedures for approximation of subcutaneous tissue to elevate and reposition sagging skin to restore or enhance a patient's facial appearance.
Who is the best Candidate?
The best candidate is the patient with:
- Mild to moderate ptosis of the soft tissue of the face and neck.
- Premature aging and sun damage.
- Weakly pronounced aesthetic contours.
- Flacid, flat face.
Is is Hard to Perform?
This procedure is safe, quick and easy to perform. Performed under local anesthesia and if desired, light IV sedation, the patient remains awake and alert. Using a needle, the Aptos threads are inserted into the subcutaneous fat, at a required depth, along the contours that were previously marked.
