Otoplasty

Ears that protrude or are misshapen can often be a source of embarrassment for both men and women, making them hesitant to show their ears in public.

Otoplasty is a surgical procedure designed to improve the overall aesthetic appearance of the ears.

An incision is made in the creases and folds behind the ear, where the ear meets the head. The cartilage is restructured and reshaped into the desired form, and any missing folds are created. The ears are then pinned back into the proper position.

A bandage is placed around the head to aid the ears in healing and patients return home the same day. One week later, the bandage is removed, revealing ears that are in balance with the rest of the face.
