Due to loss of fat, the breast skin eventually wears thin and the breasts can begin to sag, causing the nipple to droop down below the breast crease. By repositioning the nipple to a more elevated location on the chest wall, you can regain the youthful bustline you once had.

Breast Lift Surgery
If you would like to enhance the size and/or shape of your breasts while lifting them to a more youthful level, Dr. Middleton may recommend combining breast augmentation ("augmentation mammaplasty") with your breast lift procedure ("mastopexy"). Breast implants, saline or silicone gel filled, can be used to add volume and lift the breasts without the need for large incisions.
Breast lift and augmentation can also be combined with other body contouring procedures for what it is commonly referred to as a "Mommy Makeover." Tummy tuck surgery ("abdominoplasty") and liposuction ("lipoplasty") are frequently performed in order to remove loose, hanging skin and excess fat in the abdominal region. You can regain the shapely figure you had pre-pregnancy when undergoing these procedures.
