Cosmetic Eyelid Surgery
The appearance of swollen, weary eyes can be reduced when you undergo eyelid surgery. With upper eyelid surgery, Dr. Middleton can remove excess skin and muscle tissue from the upper eyelids through an incision made along the natural crease. This can provide you with a more alert and refreshed appearance.
In addition, lower eyelid surgery is available if you would like to eliminate fatty pouches beneath the eyes. If only fat is removed, incisions can be made on the inside of the lower eyelids; however, if excess skin and muscle are also removed, incisions are made in the natural smile crease underneath the lower lashes. Both techniques would allow for minimal scarring.
