Toronto Laser Tattoo Removal

Tattoo Removal
During a visit with Dr. Middleton, the tattoo will be assessed and a personalized laser treatment plan for removal will be implemented. As the laser targets the ink, it is broken up into small particles that the skin absorbs, causing the tattoo to diminish. Depending on the colours of ink used in the tattoo, the intense laser beam of light may either lighten or completely remove it. The size of the tattoo will determine the number of laser treatments necessary to reduce or completely remove the tattoo.
After your laser tattoo removal, the skin around the treated area may be red, swollen, and have some white discoloration. These traits are normal and will slowly subside over time. Treatments should be between four to eight weeks apart.
