What are my options in liposuction?
Medically known as "lipoplasty," this fat reduction procedure can help to eliminate stubborn pockets of fat from various areas of the body, including the arm, back, stomach, hips, and thighs. Keeping up with the latest in liposuction techniques, Dr. Middleton offers patients the Smart Lipo T method.
During smart liposuction, small incisions are made in the target area, allowing for the insertion of a long, narrow tube (cannula) with a laser fiber. The laser energy helps break up the fat cells to allow for easier removal. Another benefit of laser liposuction is that it also interacts with the dermis and promotes collagen shrinkage, thus, helping the skin tighten post-surgery. In addition, the blood cells coagulate immediately, resulting in less bleeding and bruising after the procedure.
In addition to liposuction, Dr. Middleton performs laser hair removal and laser tattoo removal. Further information regarding either of these treatments can be discussed during an initial consultation.
