Ultrasound Fat Removal
UltraShape is a non-surgical body-contouring procedure that can be performed at our practice without any anesthesia. Dr. Middleton will begin by examining and marking the area(s) to be treated. Depending on your individual needs, the session can last up to one and a half hours.
This non surgical fat removal treatment is guided by innovative tracking technology to ensure smooth and even-contouring results. The fat cells are disturbed and released into the intercellular fluid, which is then transported through the vascular and lymphatic systems to the liver. Because the liver cannot differentiate from the fat that is released by UltraShape and that from food being consumed, it is processed by the body's natural mechanisms. Men and women who undergo this method of fat removal can anticipate the loss of approximately two centimeters in their target area in only one session.
